Memel to Newcastle Walk/Run

• November 1:

The Tiger Wheel & Tyre Memel to Newcastle Walk/Run has been postponed to Saturday, November 1. The event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, but technical issues with local authorities have resulted in a change of date. Be sure to support the walkers from the sidelines – they will need all the the support you can muster!

Ncandu 86 Round Table to host a Pint for a Pint

• November 8:

The Ncandu 86 Round Table will be hosting their Pint for a Pint Blood Drive at their Clubhouse (Rooibok Avenue) from 07:00 to 14:00. Ice-cold beers and delicious boerewors rolls will be available. So come out and enjoy the day by doing something fun and help save a life in the process.

The fifth annual Miss Wonder Woman Beauty Pageant will take place at 17:30 at Blackrock Casino. The event raises awareness for breast cancer and supports Reach for Recovery, which assists women affected by the disease. Founded by Sharné Dheochand; inspired by her mother’s breast cancer recovery and in memory of her brother, the pageant celebrates confidence, courage, and community spirit.
