August 22 – Vryheid Methodist Church Bingo and Soup evening
The Vryheid Methodist congregation is inviting the community to their Bingo and Soup evening at the Methodist Church Hall (156 President Street) at 18:00. Tickets are R70 per person (only 100 tickets are available). The ticket includes soup, bread, jam and bingo games. Super prizes to be won. For more information, contact Cathy de Beer on 072 154 4787.
September 6 – Vryheid Methodist Market
The Methodist congregation is hosting a market day in the Methodist Church Hall (156 President Street) from 09:00 until 13:00. A variety of stalls with hot beverages, cakes, second-hand and handmade goods will be available. If you want to book a stall, contact Sophia Doust on 078 715 9430.
September 13 – Michaelis Challenge

October 11 – Lüneburg Trail Run
Peter-Pauls Gemeinde Lüneburg is hosting an exciting trail run. Participants can sign up for a 4km, 8km, 23km or 65km run. Registrations are open on www.entryninja.com or contact Eckart on 060 984 4079 or Herold on 084 609 8766.
