Why so long to react?

Once again, as we have become accustomed to, the whole process is steeped in controversy.

Editor – It has taken eight months for council to finally get their act together and start assisting those who had their houses damaged in the hailstorm of December 2012.

While it is natural that we feel for those affected by this disaster and can understand their frustration and anger at the lack of assistance, the question needs to be asked of them:

“For how much longer are you going to believe all the false promises made to you?”

You are experiencing firsthand the inability of the ruling party to make good on their promises to you, so the question I put to you is:
“With the elections coming up next year, how many of you will still continue to support those who have failed you in your hour of need?”
