Thank you you for highlighting the problem we have with abnormal trucks and their crew who camp over weekends in the park on the corner of Fouché and Victoria Streets opposite the airfield.
In the past these drivers, who often sleep over as their trucks are prevented from moving over weekends, have set fire to the veld – probably in their attempts to cook food.
They have ladies of the night visiting, and there is noise, and in the mornings unmentionable discard is found.
Human waste is left to hang in packets from the trees.
So I suppose we can thank them for not simply doing their business on the grass.
Still, this is unacceptable, as we are faithfully paying rates in that area but have to deal with with this. When will the by-laws be enforced?
