In response to the letter “Don’t be hoodwinked” in last week’s Estcourt News, I have only praise for the person that was smart enough to point out the audacity of those moneymaking schemers.

Unfortunately I was recently a recipient of one of their tricks.

A particular individual was kind enough to abuse a beautiful fruit (lime) by decorating it with multi-coloured dust and placing it before my gate, with otherwise intentions.

I don’t believe in curses, so all I did in response is to wish you well and pray that in good time you will be granted the wisdom of realising just how empty and ridiculous this act was.

You will soon be exposed and face the consequences. Revenge is sweet.
