I am truly amazed at the pedestrians on our roads! How there aren’t more accidents and deaths is a wonder.
The pedestrians in this town don’t seem to care for the rules of the road, they just walk in the road whenever and wherever they want!
The worst has got to be school children at lunchtime. The streets become full of uniformed children walking everywhere.
The problem lies in the fact that they either don’t look where they are going or they simply do not care.
As far as I know, if someone hits a pedestrian with their car, they can be charged with murder.
But what about the pedestrians? How can it be made more clear to them to be careful on the roads?
They cross the roads without a care in the world and expect drivers to react around them. Not only is this dangerous to the pedestrians, but also to the vehicles on the road.
If someone decides to walk out into traffic and a car has to slam on brakes or swerve, it could cause an accident. But would the pedestrian have to take any responsibility for this? Probably not!
People walking on the road need to catch a wake-up and be more careful, especially when the roads are busy.
