Madam – Today I write to you with a heavy heart.

All around us there is heartbreak and terror. What has happened to our people that we now have to fear every move we make?

What happened to the days where you helped an elderly person cross the road or carry their packages. Nobody seems to care for each other. When we switch on the news, its rape and murder and destruction. It saddens me when I hear of little innocent children being mutilated and murdered.

Authority figures are no longer protecting us and doing what is right. Have we just turned a blind eye? Or is it really that we as mankind just don’t care anymore? If we sit still and watch the world and what is happening around us, I am sure it will frighten everyone in the deepest way.

I want to end my letter to you with a phrase from Dr Seuss:
Unless someone cares a
whole awful lot, nothing will
get better, it wont!
