Could I through the medium of the local paper bring the following to your notice?
I would like to bring it to your attention that I think Ms Njoko seems to have lapses of memory.
Since I have been asking the municipality for a speed reduction bump here in front of our house or even a little further down.
But all to no avail.
What we did get was a few strips of tar but that means nothing.
I would like to once again lodge this petition but with you this time.
We now have even more children that use this street and that play here.
Like I have said before is the municipality waiting for somebody to be killed before something is done? The cars either coming up or going down the street seem to think this is a race track and by the time they reach our house they are easily at a speed of over 80km per hour and then they either take the corner at a speed or have to break to make it round the corner.
When is something going to be done about this matter?
That is the first matter – the second one is in September 2013, my daughter made application for a certified copy of my father’s naturalisation certificate.
When she went to the office in Pretoria to fetch the certificate, firstly it was not ready and then somebody in the office had sent the certificate on to Randfontein instead of Randburg – which is the closest to my daughter.
I wrote to the department on January 28, 2014 requesting them to try and get the certificate and send it to me here in Estcourt.
To date I have yet to receive either acknowledgement of my letter or any kind of notice taken.
Do we wonder why we are fast being one of the worst countries in the world to get proper service delivery?
