Sir,
Over the past few years a lot of upgrades have been done to Dundee roads.
This is wonderful if you live in Dundee, but not if you live in Glencoe. The general condition of our roads is very poor and in some places very dangerous.
One of the worst spots is on the corner of Kendoepking and Blesbok Streets. I have made several complaints to the Glencoe Municipality but they have all fallen on deaf ears. On this corner the tar road meets a dirt road, and the only way to survive the crossing is by driving in a zig-zag at snail’s pace. Even then there is a chance of seriously damaging your car.
Maybe if less money was spent on unnecessary items there would be money available for the government to make some of their promises realities.
Unless the government sponsors us 4x4s to get home safely, something will seriously need to be done to solve this ‘dodgy’ issue.
