Ratepayers have Asiphephe Road under the magnifying glass

Good day.

The widening of the Asiphephe road is appreciated. We congratulate the municipality on a job well done.

We do however have a few concerns.

Is the old outbound carriage way going to be resurfaced or upgraded at this stage? It is noted that a paved walkway has been provided on the incoming carriage

way. Is a similar walkway to be provided on the outgoing carriage way? The paving as it is presently, necessitates pedestrians having to cross the road which poses a danger to them. It has also been noted that there has been no provision made for visiting the memorial site. Is this an oversight or is this still to be done?

The inscriptions on the tablets are becoming obscure and need redoing.

We hope that the above will receive your favourable attention.
