Madam,
I refer to the letter from Aisha Moolla in your edition of 8 August.
What a dramatic lady with a very one sided and obviously very bitter, and racialist attitude, hell bent on trying to make the white
community feel guilty of supporting what she calls murder in Palestine.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and may also choose who to support, where to shop, and not to make comparisons between South Africa and the Israeli regime.
Many people have been killed in many wars, which included woman and children.
This is definitely not the first or last war that will be fought.
Does this lady think the people of Gaza know how many marches were held in their honour?
I did not participate in this march because this will make no difference whatsoever in the conflict. If one thinks about it, why should the march be in support of just Palestine and not for the two nations to get together to find common grounds for lasting peace?
