Kindly allow me to offer some advice to the devastated ‘Sphe’ (Advice from pastors urgently needed, Estcourt News, August 8, page 7)
Brother, please remember that our God is a mysterious God who allows us to experience certain things in our lives in order to build our character.
Exposing the Pastor’s sins will do no good as the Bible says: ‘vengeance is mine says the Lord.”
The fact that he calls himself a pastor, he should have known better that to judge you in the way that he has.
He and other gossip mongers will be judged accordingly, because Matthew 7:1 –3 clearly says that they will be judged by the same measure that they used against you and they should remove the planks out of their own eyes before attempting to remove the speck out of your eyes.
This is so because none of us is perfect as humans, therefore we do not have the right to judge others.
The church should be seen as a hospital where injured and sick souls should be healed and not discarded as you were whether you were guilty or not.
Your Pastor has distorted the character of our God, which among other things are love, acceptance as you are and forgiveness.
He should actually refrain from preaching any messages related to these aspects because he clearly is the same priest that left the injured traveller unattended and walked away in the parable of the Good Samaritan.
Every time he preaches about any aspects related to the above, he will be bringing a curse upon himself and his entire congregation.
Just accept what has happened to you as being part of the perfect plan and will of God, find a new church and allow God to deal with the gossipmongers and the ‘Pastor’.
Yes, Jesus still loves you and always will. The police cannot remove you from the church for the reasons mentioned.
The ‘Pastor’ knows the answer to the question of him going to hell – if he is not suffering the consequences of his actions right now.
Blessed
