Sir,
I refer to the article under the heading ‘Angered over decision to cancel free water’ as appeared in the Courier, October 27.
The writer, Brian, expressed concern about the withdrawal of the free six kilolitres of water per household.
I certainly concur with his submission that the deserving and needy residents of our town are being seriously affected.
Brian put forward some very relevant and pertinent questions, such as the decision that was taken by the majority party was not challenged by other parties.
The Democratic Alliance, claiming to be very proficient in such matters, did nothing.
I expected a response in the subsequent issue of the Courier. Why so silent, Mr Bedassi…?
Is it hibernation after elections…?
We are disappointed
