This letter is to all members of staff at Eskom. This letter is long overdue. You guys have been saving us from darkness for years. Most recently, on a Saturday morning.

We have lived on farms forever, and somehow, being without power out in the middle of nowhere, is scary.
You are always there when we need you and you never let us down.

You come when you say you are coming and you make promises that you keep. Yours is a thankless job, out in the snow, hail and rain, but you can always be depended on.Thank you SO much for providing us with a fabulous service. You should know that many people appreciate your dedication. They just don’t get around to saying so!
