Erratic refuse removal causes frustration

By not advising us of the correct refuse removal days, this adds to the eye sore our town has become

Editor
I was very disappointed to note that the municipality did not make alternate arrangements for refuse removal during the December holiday period. What was worse was that the public was not informed on which days to leave their refuse out.

In some areas, the refuse vehicles came by very late in the evening. What the municipal officials may not realise is that in some areas, refuse bags are destroyed by dogs and a mess is made on the roadside.

By not advising us of the correct refuse removal days, this adds to the eye sore our town has become.
Not only do the roads become filthy, litter is often spread from one place to another, either by the animals or nature. Please, advise us of any changes in refuse removal.
