All relationships go through difficult times.

Sometimes the depth and duration of the tough times can leave us feeling hopeless in our relationships. It can also lead to a build-up of negative feelings, where small things can trigger big reactions. We start to fight over trivialities.

The negative things we start to say about the small things are often because we are too scared to talk about our relationship slump, or it scares us to talk about the big things that are bugging us.

The trouble is that by ignoring the big stuff, we hurt each other. Take the time and courage to start talking about the big things in your relationship. Talk in a gentle, non – judgmental, and concerned way with your partner.

The longer we leave it, the deeper the pain and the greater the chances of not fixing things.
