Hasty drivers are a danger

People are in such a rush to get to their destination and drive even faster to beat the orange traffic light

Lately I have noticed just how dangerous the roads have become when it comes to drivers who no longer adhere to the rules of the road, especially at the traffic lights.

People are in such a rush to get to their destination and drive even faster to beat the orange traffic light instead of slowing down and waiting a minute or two. It has become a huge concern as it puts other drivers and pedestrians in danger. Early in the morning between 7am and 9am at the traffic lights on the corner of Lorne Street by the bridge, most people just drive through no matter if it is their turn to proceed or not.

I seriously think there should be traffic control there and those anxious and impatient drivers should be fined for disobeying the rules of the road.

Do we have to wait for another accident to happen there before something is done about it or is the traffic department actually going to take control of it?
