Great Paramount Chief passes on

Never in a country was such disrespect shown to royalty

Paramount Morris Lorens Fynn carried a very high royalty among the Zulus. He was a direct descendant of Shaka Zulu’s right hand man Doctor Fynn who married Shaka’s relative. Shaka then appointed Fynn with a chieftainship. Morris Lorens Fynn is the son and was classified coloured and was denied recognition by the government and the Zulu royalty.

The Group Areas Act forced him away after his parent’s deaths. The place where Chief Fynn was buried was appointed to him by Shaka Zulu.
The serious part is that now the caretaker Chief of the land refused to allow Paramount Morris Lorens Fynn to be buried next to his father’s grave.

Right now the Chief is still lying in the morgue and not buried. The fight has now only increased because of this approach. Never in a country was such disrespect shown to royalty. As a Commissioner of the CRL, I was present and witnessed this. We, the Khoi-San chiefs are very angry and will make sure that his descendants get justice and healing will follow.
