Land policy is not respected

We have a claim and all construction must stop until the claim is passed

Lawlessness, we are not far from being the Wild West. When the law is not respected, the next best thing is that a place will be doomed.
The 1913 reopening of the land claims policy must hold some weight. The 1950 and 1951 Group Areas Act removed our people from their rural and urban land and forced them into townships.

This was done mainly to dispossess our people. Our claim to return to our land has been lodged and we have a claim number for three Trusts under Zaailaager.

A moratorium should be placed and no construction should continue after such a claim but on this site, people are building. There is no law for these people but our people must follow the law. How long will my people look and see the law siding? The last place to go is court.

The court must tell us where to now. When our claim is through, what do these people expect us to do?

We have a claim and all construction must stop until the claim is passed. No one was here before our forefathers, the Bushman. We have graves here and they are building on these graves.

We can get a geologist to prove this. Coloured townships are historical landmarks because we were dispossessed from these townships.
The word ‘land’ has been a big cause of conflict.
