It’s time for a new start

We are very happy for the matriculants and our best wishes accompany them to the new environment beyond matric

“Tolerance and celebration of individual difference is the fire that fuels lasting love” – TOM HANNAH.

This phrase should be a guiding principle to all of us in 2016.

We should be thankful to the Almighty once more again for ushering us into the New Year.

It is befitting for one to congratulate those who did well in their 2015 grade 12 results, this is the beginning of great things to come, a ticket to the future, which needs to be handled with care.

To all prospective tertiary students, the ball is now in your court since you will be partially independent from your parents.

We are very happy for the matriculants and our best wishes accompany them to the new environment beyond matric.

Both university life and the job market are never easy, but requires purpose-driven individuals who don’t easily fall victims to influence.

Special thanks to the teachers for their tireless effort in ensuring that a scientific upbringing of a child is perpetually carried out in spite of the unfavourable conditions under which they work.

A parent’s role in giving unconditional support to ensure learners feel loved, will never go unnoticed.

Triple challenges known as Poverty, Inequality and Unemployment (PIU) can only be defeated through the strengthening of ties between the teacher, learner and a parent, which others call a three-legged pot through education.

Those who might not have achieved what they were aiming for, it is not the end of the road, they should put gear number one that will mark a new start.

Remember that we are all running the race of life in this world and this race is characterised either by victory or disappointment.

For one to be victorious in 2016 take cognisance of the following applications:
Dig your starting holes, have a proper foundation and make a good background.

Your foundation must be strong and you must be confident, use everything your life has got and avoid disturbances that might deter you.

Try to always do your very best. Mind you, this is the race of life… run straight, run high and run hard.

It is imperative to begin the year with a big bang, full of zest.
