Ratepayer voices concerns

Try phoning the emergency number 036 352 6464 - you may be lucky enough to find a clerk manning the phone - or you may not?

Last week’s newspaper showed ‘our overgrown’ entrance to Estcourt – a week later still nothing has been done and the weeds continue to grow like…. well, weeds!

Frustrations at the licensing department – all counters are manned by a clerk unless the clerk has an ’emergency’? I wonder how many emergencies occur daily?

Try phoning the emergency number 036 352 6464 – you may be lucky enough to find a clerk manning the phone – or you may not?

A tender notice for ‘construction of Mabholonini Hall’ – why are we as ratepayers financing the construction of another hall in Mabholinini when the last one has been so badly vandalised and disrespected?

The present hall is not many years old and has had several revamps and many windows and doors installed and reinstalled – will the new hall be any different?
