Park parties get residents hot and bothered

'None of these people live here, and none of them have to listen to these weekly excesses.'

Sir
The level of street parties in Coronation Park is picking up again, and, as usual, it is the residents around the park that are bearing the brunt of this problem.
The only difference now is that on some evenings, some inconsiderate people drive away from the area adjacent to the park screeching their tyres.
We have tried to address these problems (park parties) when David Cebekhulu was still municipal manager, all to no avail.
This is a flagrant contravention of municipal bylaws, but true to form, our local law enforcement cannot be bothered to attend complaints in this area.
The municipality have ignored this problem for over ten years now, except for Councillor Ngobese, who was the only person who tried to help us.
Could the new council perhaps be interested to pay attention to this problem?
We are, after all, rates and tax payers.
Loud music, braai fires, noisy vehicles departing with screeching tyres are now the order of the day every weekend.
This is a very old problem, and I am again asking the council to pay attention to this issue.
These very high ambient noise levels have already forced me to close my bed and breakfast, and this public nuisance is still intolerable.
None of these people live here, and none of them have to listen to these weekly excesses.
