Louise Kruger of Louise’s Driving School writes:
PLEASE allow me on your Letters page to thank all Louise’s Driving School customers, past and present, for their wonderful support for the last 30-plus years. Older driving licence customers will remember when we operated as Majas Driving School, and it is possible that there are people that got their licence with Majas, whose children have got theirs with Louise’s. That is how long we have been in the Vryheid community, and our cars are a familiar sight on the streets of Vryheid.
However, Brian’s passing in 2016 created a huge gap in my life and in the operation of the driving school. We ran the school closely together, working side by side for all those years. His absence is a gap that I find I cannot fill, personally and at the driving school.
Thus it is that I am relocating to Cape Town where I will be staying with my one son. The driving school here in Vryheid will continue to operate under the management of Musi Kunene, my long-serving and very competent driving instructor. I know that Vryheid and the greater AbaQulusi area will continue to give Musi and the driving school its continued support.
