Single people don’t stand a chance these days

Single people are tired of being alone, so can this world please just give us a chance!

Editor – In response to last week’s letter about betrayal in a marriage. Being a single person, it is so difficult to start a relationship these days, which is ironic when you think about all the cheating going on in marriages.

Could it be that married people are stealing all the potential partners through their “secret liaisons”?

I totally agree with the writer of last week’s letter.

Why are single people wasting their time having affairs with married people, instead of trying to find a meaningful relationship with someone they can call their own? What are the chances of us single people starting our own families with all this nonsense going on in society?

It must all come to an end. Marriage is a sacred institution and should not be entered into lightly. Honour those vows, people!
You can’t expect others to respect you if you can’t respect yourself. Enough said!

Single people are tired of being alone, so can this world please just give us a chance!
