Madam – I am all for technology as it makes all our lives easier.
I just thought I should mention how sad I am that the age of DVDs seems to be over. I remember spending countless hours with my family and friends at DVD stores around the country, hunting for just the right movies to spend a weekend watching.

I remember fighting with my siblings about which movies to choose, so that we would eventually choose one each and spend an enjoyable night living in that world.
I remember the frustration of finding out the movies you were waiting days and even weeks to watch had all been hired out, and since the store only had a few copies, you had to wait even longer.
Gone are the days when patience was a virtue and when you had to anticipate and look forward to something.
Now all you have to do is make sure you have a stable and fast Internet connection and you can watch something almost instantly. The joys of waiting and fighting and browsing have all but disappeared and it makes me long for the past.
I am grateful for technology, but it seems technology has enabled us to become anti-social, spoiled and impatient.
