LETTER: An ode to Mother Nature

Madam –

Flushed away

The flood has come and gone.

Disaster for many yes,

But also a kind of clean up, I guess?

Mother Nature, in a sense, has again won.

Not only to fill up our thirsty dams,

but also, in a sense, flushed a dirty toilet,

and washed away most of the dirt alongside the river banks.

This is just a call for everyone to use their wit,

and not mess her up again,

because, it can only be a moment when

She will be angry again.

And then…?
