PAC wants visible service delivery

The municipality needs to investigate their system of recruitment because our leaders are out to exploit

The state affairs within our municipality are very sad. I have heard of municipalities winning awards for their cleanliness in this province for example the Newcastle municipality.

I wonder when Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality will be mentioned among the cleanest municipalities. The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania in Estcourt feels that the municipality should invest in bigger rubbish bins.

The people responsible for refuse removal need to reposition the bins in our town. They should consider areas where there are high refuse deposits.

We urge members of our community to take care of municipal property; such as rubbish bins. Members of the National Freedom Party (NFP) in 2016, damaged the rubbish bins and spilled rush all over the street.

Even municipal employees do the very same thing when they go on strikes.

The Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) of Azania strongly condemns such action. The municipality needs to investigate their system of recruitment because our leaders are out to exploit. How is it possible to work for more than two years as a temporary worker?

We urge the municipality to profile the image of our town to be in line with other towns. It must invest in quality roads that last long. If there are potholes, fix them immediately. Service delivery must be delivered and not only spoken of. Locals want to be able to see what their taxes are used for.
