Hospital deserves some praise too!

The Dundee Hospital has in recent times, received much adverse criticism.

My experience has been somewhat different. I have been attending the eye clinic there, as I developed a cataract in my left eye, and yesterday I underwent surgery.

Throughout my several visits to the clinic I have met with nothing but kindness, consideration and respect, even though the waiting times were long; as a patient you need patience! This was followed by my admission to the ward, where once again, the treatment was first class.

The Doctor who performed the 10-minute operation made the whole experience comfortable and kept me informed at all times of the procedure.

My grateful thanks to all the nursing staff and especially “Doctor Patricia”, who was described by an Indian gentleman as an angel.
