Delighted with the signing of the FICA bill

President Zuma was sitting with this bill since June 2016 and he decided to send it back to Parliament because his cronies were not happy with the bill.

Sir
COPE is delighted with the signing of the FICA Bill.
This is a step in the right direction. Even though Jacob Zuma tried every trick in the book to delay and frustrate the signing of the Financial Intelligence Centre Amendment (FICA) bill into law, he finally signed it.
Money laundering and financial terrorism are some of the biggest threats to our economy.
Now that the bill is signed, there is no place to hide for these corrupt syndicates.
Dodgy characters must now know that from now on there will be an increased scrutiny of bank accounts.
Transparency will be the order of the day.
President Zuma was sitting with this bill since June 2016 and he decided to send it back to Parliament because his cronies were not happy with the bill.
However, Parliament in its wisdom passed it again in November last year.
