Please respond to ratepayer’s concerns

"The pothole in Loskop road near Narrowtex claimed at least two tyres and rims this weekend - a huge unnecessary cost to the driver,"

Following on from my letter a few weeks back and several letters since then, it seems our grievances fall on deaf ears!

The pothole in Loskop road near Narrowtex claimed at least two tyres and rims this weekend – a huge unnecessary cost to the driver, not to mention towing costs and inconvenience.

Please, can I appeal to the municipality/ Uthukela/roads department, etc., to give us some sign that our grievances are being heard, and more importantly being acted on.

It seems most letters have ‘no response by time of going to print.’ That means NO RESPONSE!

I think that means NO ONE CARES!

Could there be a weekly report from each department telling us what HAS been done, what WILL be done and an estimated time frame?

It would be so good to be able to comment positively rather than negatively on what OUR money is being spent on.
We want to be proud that we live in Estcourt!
