When the announcement was made regarding the opening of the new Dundee Action Cricket Centre, there were many doubters who thought it would fail.
There were fears it would turn into a hang out spot for youngsters who want to indulge in societal ills. However, after playing a game there this past weekend, I can say that it is a great boon for the town.
A huge thank you and congratulations to Mr Govender and team for an excellent and well-run establishment. It is great to see that someone thinks about the needs of the town and isn’t interested in lining his pockets first. May the centre grow from strength to strength.
