Residents advised to be careful on our roads

Some drivers show no respect for others on the road and we have no one to stop them

This is a warning to all law-abiding motorists and pedestrians, please be careful when going out onto our roads. Some drivers show no respect for others on the road and we have no one to stop them.

Please note that a trend I’ve picked up is that taxi drivers, when turning right, would rather not wait and creep up alongside you on the left. Once the coast is clear, they quickly slip in front of you, cutting you off.

This is not only dangerous but completely inconsiderate. Alexandra Street‘s one-way is becoming a terrible street. One of the lanes is constantly blocked off with motorists who are double parked, so the dual lanes serve no purpose, as was intended to relieve congestion.

This is evident on a daily basis and not just during busy times of the month. Also the big pothole on the road makes driving here very precarious.

Does anyone still obey the 60-minute parking signs in town? Doesn’t seem like it to me because one can never find parking in central town. This is because the people who work there park their vehicles from the morning until the afternoon, how selfish!

Law-abiding motorists and pedestrians, also be aware of vehicles driving through red robots, this occurs everywhere in town.
Please look right and left before crossing an intersection. Be careful on our roads.
