Reader asks: Are we willing to take Africans somewhere?

To the officers in our local government, Samora Machel aptly observed: "For the nation to live, a tribe must die."

Regarding development and strategy, I rate that we are far behind from reaching our destiny. Our hope for a better future is really in question.

To the officers in our local government, Samora Machel aptly observed: “For the nation to live, a tribe must die.” Build a nation that we will be proud of. Our previous administration systems were inhumane, whereby the minority overpowered the majority.

Well-built teams can achieve more success than you have ever dreamed of. A former President of the democratic South African government stated: ” Africans, our struggle is to engage in both the total emancipation of our continent from social, political and economic legacy of colonialism and apartheid as well as to reclaim our history, identity and traditions and on the foundation that our ancestors built for all of humanity, rebuild our societies to ensure that they are developed and prosperous.”

Therefore the inspirational approach goes beyond this expression, unity as one nation with one destiny.

Building the nation starts from within an individual. Robert Sobukwe argued that ‘Africans had to prove to themselves and to the world that they could stand on their own feet. To do this, they had to liberate themselves, without the help of “non – blacks” Africa you are on your own”.
