Anyone sitting on our heritage and historical landmarks need to know that the time has come. Our oppressors did not show remorse or try to restitute our people, they totally side-lined us. Our people who lived in Estcourt way back were the only Bushman people; everyone else came to oppress our forefathers.

We, as Khoisan, are going to do deep research on who killed who and who cut whose heads, this genocide was carried out here in Estcourt.

Our policies now give us power to find out what happened in Estcourt when these other nations came. The Bushmen descendent is the classified coloured who will now merge as the Khoisan nation, who they were before the Dutch classified them coloured.

Zaailaager is ours way before the British or anyone else came here; full occupation was visible of our Bushmen people. This Bill and our exception policy allow us to dig deep and those who don’t know history will be disappointed.

Please excuse us, political parties must not hinder our development. Reports will be made and the world’s indigenous bodies will assist us and our developments. Let us learn to respect each other and allow social cohesion.
