Shape and shake the course of our history

"If the revolution of the past has nothing to do with our present, why are we called good citizens of the continent?

We have one common denominator in our personality, which is to shape and shake the course of our history. We have enough commodities that we can share among ourselves but poverty is escalating unreasonably.

We grab it aggressively, to own it with no passion to accommodate others. We create individualism and separate our societal common denominator.  Where is love among us? Where is Africanism within us?

If the revolution of the past has nothing to do with our present, why are we called good citizens of the continent? The new term of the political arena is ‘corruption’.

Are we really corrupt? African philosophical approaches are based on principles, values and norms, which are governed by one phrase ‘umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu’.

Therefore where does greedy come from? We are inheriting inhumanity by collecting blank cheques.  Our own people have become commodities? We need them when our intention is to climb the ladder.

We often receive compliments and graduate to become heartless. We own cash to advance ourselves, however hopelessness is still a mechanism among Africans.  Let us emancipate ourselves by shaking and shaping our current situation.
