Is Keate Street now private property reserved for special motorists?

Do the parking bays perhaps belong to some special people and as ratepayers, we’re not allowed to park there?

Editor – I would like advice regarding the parking bays in Keate Street opposite the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court.

Are these parking bays reserved for certain individuals / motorists?

Quite frequently when parking my motor vehicle in these parking bays, I return to my car to find a handwritten notice left on my windscreen, demanding that we find alternative parking.

There is no ‘Reserved’ sign there, so who gives this individual the right to tell motorists where to park?

Do these parking bays perhaps belong to some special people and as ratepayers, we’re not allowed to park there?

This is confusing! I never knew Keate Street was now private property!
