A denomination that seems to have no compassion for its followers?

I am a Christian and as far as my knowledge goes, the Bible teaches us that God is love

Editor – To the community of Ladysmith, please help me understand.

There is a Christian denomination in town that goes from house to house, preaching the Bible and telling people how they ought to live.

I am a Christian and as far as my knowledge goes, the Bible teaches us that God is love.

These people, however, don’t seem to look after their own members.

I have it on good authority that a member who is too old to attend their “meetings” has on numerous occasions asked for encouragement, but to no avail.

They forget the old ones exist. In fact, I know of a member who has Alzheimer’s and when he contacted his daughter (who is also a member), she had a court order issued for harassment.

Where is their love? They promote divorce, lies, financial greediness and shunning.

Dear Editor, please help me to get answers. I have contacted this organisation on numerous occasions, wanting answers, but to no avail.

Shouldn’t we, like Christ, show love? Isn’t it commanded in the Bible “to love thy neighbour”?
This “sect” is breaking up families, marriages and people’s morale.

Why do they get away with it? Can legal steps be taken?
