[LETTER] Sinister act of stabbing dogs calls for swift punishment

"No words can adequately describe the total despair this poor woman must feel because of utterly wanton stabbing of her dogs."

Madam – Further to my letter of last week, in which I addressed the appalling fact that thieves had indeed raided the Newcastle offices of our SPCA.

That in itself is despicable act, as the SPCA is everyone’s friend when you need help with your cat or dog. In fact who’s to say that these thieves and/or their family members, had perhaps made use of the SPCA in the past, and now had come back to ransack the offices of these good Samaritans.

RELATED STORY: Theft a ‘low blow’ to Newcastle SPCA

However, even more sinister and evil is the awful act perpetrated on the dogs belonging to Annabell Booyse!

No words can adequately describe the total despair this poor woman must feel because of utterly wanton stabbing of her dogs. Unfortunately, the perpetrators will likely never be apprehended, mores the pity as these acts require stern punishment, as after all, somebody must stand up and speak for the animals.
