ESTCOURT: Remembering the CanSA Relay for Life

Over the years, the relay has brought thousands of cancer warriors together in the fight against an indiscriminate disease that has no boundaries

Editor –

The first weekend in September, for the last 11 years, has been all about the CanSA Relay.

However, this year’s Covid-19 had other plans for the life-changing event.

Over the years, the relay has brought thousands of cancer warriors together in the fight against an indiscriminate disease that has no boundaries.

The event has also raised more than R1.4 million for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CanSA) for research advocacy and care programmes.

We live in hope for a cancer- and Covid-free world.

Be safe and stay ‘Relayers’.
