Editor –
Through the medium of your newspaper, the Pridgeon family (formerly of Estcourt) would like to acknowledge the wonderful act of Italo Raciti.
He, having noticed the neglected state of the graves in the Estcourt Municipal Cemetery, took it upon himself when tending to the graves of his parents to tend to those of our loved ones as well.
He cleaned the marble, found the vases that had been removed from the graves, and re-attached these to the graves in a secure way.
In addition, he arranged for the overgrown area around the graves to be cut by his own staff.

In a world where it is all about ‘”me” – my needs, my interests, my wants and my ambitions – this unsolicited act of kindness shown by Italo Raciti should be acknowledged all the more.
Thank you, Italo, from all of us in England, Australia and spread around South Africa.
