The Newcastle Raceway is ground zero for another awesome speed session on July 25, at the ‘place where rubber meets dirt’.

Gates open from 2pm.

Visitors are welcome to meet the drivers and scope out the vehicles from 3pm, ahead of the first of many races from 6pm.

Organisers from the Newcastle Raceway promised thrilling racing action, with new drivers in the two-litre class and the return of go-karts.

“Come and support our drivers and join in our adrenaline-filled action.”

Gates fees are R35 for adults, R25 for school pupils and R10 for cars, and spectators are advised to bring along the braai and blankets to ward off the chill.
