THANK you to Michaelis Schule and the parents of Michaelis for hosting the super McCarthy Inyanga Michaelis Challenge again this year.
From young to ‘old’ we enjoyed the trail runs and mtb events in the perfect weather and the beautifully sculpted trails! (Thanks, Jacques!) What a pleasure and a privilege to be able to take part!
Congratulations to everyone who ran and cycled from the 5km and 10km fun run/rides to the 21km trail run and 50km mtb events! I’m sure Michaelis will have the results on their website shortly.
Congratulations to Zauco Norris (second); Sandra Superstar (first) and Lize Vasbyt (third), who were all on the podium for the 50km mtb. Also congrats to other Vryheid riders Phillip, Evy, Flip, Riaan, Marius, Martyn and Martyn junior, André, Jacques, Donovan, Ronell, Paulo and Jabulani, who all completed the 50km cycle.
Great stuff also to the dads in our group who did the shorter rides with their kids.
