GOLF: Friendly foes tee of on the fairway
Welcoming the warmer climate, while sipping on cold beverages golfers enjoyed the serenity of good friends and good swings.
Ideal conditions saw golfers out and about at the Newcastle Golf Club last Saturday, August 5.
Although no sponsored competition was held, players took to the green in a friendly match.

On the flip side, the Kilbarchan Golf Club hosted a Newcastle mowerman monthly mug competition, the results were as follows:
