The calmness of the winds and even fairways aided in the bowlers achieving their goals.

“When we play a match, the length that we walk is equivalent to a distance of 1.2 kilometres,” admitted secretary of the club, Tertia Combrink.

An Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held after the games along with a prize-giving ceremony.

The results were as follows:

Sannie Hartzenberg, Wessel Herbst, Jaco Huenis, Annatjie Roos, Andrè Bouwer, Hettie Bouwer and Titia Engelbrecht, were the team that took first place.
