Local football team Junior Eleven FC, who now play in the second division ABC Motsepe Foundation, are hoping to start the season with a win when they face Kwamashu Durban Knights FC this afternoon (October 5).

The local team will be hosting the visitors at the Kandahar Avenue sports ground, with kick-off at 15:00.

Winning the opening match will boost their confidence as they try to emulate what they did in the Nomgwenya Regional League, where they stayed for only one season before progressing to a higher league.
