The Newcastle Boschpick Highlanders XV took on Piet Retief Rugby Club on Saturday (July 19) at the Arbor Park Sports Stadium, securing a 39–33 victory in wet and cold conditions.
Despite the difficult playing conditions, both teams gave their all to entertain the loyal spectators who braved the weather to show their support.
The Highlanders’ third team will face Winterton in the KZN Findley Cup on August 2 at the Arbor Park Sports Stadium.
Supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on the team.
