It is always interesting to see who comes up with the most surprising gift, so do get into the spirit of it and think up something 'novel'
What a sad note to start the week on – we send our condolences to the family and friends of Nelson Mandela, who left this struggle for a better place. He will be missed!
There are quite a few entries for the Bergville Archie Coventry tournament being played on December 16, and we wish all participants good luck and good bowling. This is always a fun tournament and Carol’s lunch is ‘to die for’, so make sure you don’t miss out.
Sunday, December 22, at 8.30am is the annual Xmas tournament for those who are not gallivanting around. This is marked by ‘bring a present / get a present’ to the value of R40. It is always interesting to see who comes up with the most surprising gift, so do get into the spirit of it and think up something ‘novel’!
Andries de Kock and Veronica Malan will start the year off by having birthdays, and we wish them “happy birthday” and good health for the year ahead.
And so the year winds down to the holidays when we will all have a break… and come back renewed and full of new energy to get things going again. We look forward to 2014 with enthusiasm, and hope for a wonderful year with lots of fun and good health to everyone.
