Bowlers gobble up Christmas success

Wishing all the bowlers, Business League players, supporters and friends a Merry Christmas and a great 2014. Safe travelling to all over the festive season.

The Christmas Gobble 2:4:2 Fun Bowls Day was a great success, with two full greens!
There were lots of prizes up for grabs, and the winners were first Lourens; second Nan; third Michelle Vermeulen.
The best prize was won by Anne Schreiber: ‘Stone Last’!
The Chinese braai and music that followed was enjoyed by all.
The club also hosted the winner of the All Natal Men’s Pairs, Keith Harcombe, and his girlfriend Michelle Vermeulen. He won a weekend at the Battlefields Country Lodge.
The 2012/13 prize-giving took place on Saturday morning. Congratulations to all the winners. Ladies – Singles Open: Sylvia Malan; Senior: Jannie Lieuwes; Men: Singles Open and Seniors: Dougie Slabbert; Ladies’ Pairs: Sylvia and Nan; Men’s Pairs: Marthinus, Ian and Greg (sub); Mixed Pairs: Greg and Sylvia.
