Bowlers on a roll for fun

Welcome back to Hans, after a shoulder operation.

Last Saturday a well-supported fun day was had by all, with bowlers from Vryheid, Newcastle, Ladysmith and afar taking part. Winners of the 2:4:2 competition were: first Louisa Vreken; count-out for second and third, Lyn Dippenaar and Elsie Pretorius; while John Douthwaite finished fourth. The infamous ‘Stone Last’ prize went to Hans Vreken (ask Louisa for a few tips!). Welcome back to Hans, after a shoulder operation.
Correction on last Courier report: Anna Muller was the club Ladies’ Senior Singles champion. Well done!
