There will be a Business League and braai soon.
The competition secretaries are trying exciting new concepts: Super 7s, Trip Scroungers, 2-Bowl Pairs, and 2:4:2 Pairs formats. This gives players the opportunity to play in different positions, all in Tabs In format. The first Scroungers competition was well-supported; the winner was Willie Nel and runner-up Anna Muller – great bowling Willie!
Entries for the SpecSavers Pro10 competition, to be played February 1 and 2, in any pairs format – see notice board.
Bowlers can entertain themselves by watching the top bowlers in the KZNCB Men’s and Ladies’ Masters, to be held at Newcastle Bowling Club on January 25 and 26.

There have been lots of compliments by members to David and Sipho for the condition of the greens and the surrounding gardens. A big thank-you to the Dundee Country Club committee and Stanley for their assistance.
